  • 1.  Thinking ahead to next year...

    Greetings, 

    I would like to do a dramatic one-act that has already has some accolades. I will have lots of talented guys and gals, but one really stand out gentlemen. 

    Bonus points if it's a murder mystery/crime-centered story. 


    Im trying to stay in as much as possible while not crying about the likely cancelation of our spring musical. Weird times. I hope yall are staying in, too!

    I feel your pain. We too had to cancel our show and found our yesterday that our school is now out until May 1st. We all are in this together. 

    As for next year, "Twelve Angry Jurors" has great roles. I have done it multiple times.

    You should look at Ken Ludwig's new adaptation of Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express. Concord has it. It’s not a one act but it’s great.

    Look at "The Insanity of Mary Gerard," the playwright's name escapes me. It takes place in an insane asylum, where an abusive husband has committed his wife. The husband is a strong character, and there is a lot of opportunity for ensemble players.
