  • 1.  Play proposal assignment

    I am looking for a "play proposal assignment" for my advanced theatre students.  They are excited to recommend play and musicals, but I want their suggestions to be well-thought out and submitted in writing. I'd like them to do research into casting, set requirements, budgeting, etc.  Does anyone have this assignment in a ready to share format?

    I use a google form to collect input from students. In Drama 1, they use a simpler one and by the time they get to Advanced Drama, they use this one.

    Theatre Folk is a good resource for stuff like this. They have a good series on student directing. This one, on choosing a play, touches on play proposal.
