We did Curtains in 2019 and had a great experience. You definitely need a strong singer for Aaron, but honestly the rest of the male singing roles are very simple as long as they can handle the few harmonies in "What Kind of Man", "The Woman's Dead" and "In the Same Boat." The female singing roles are much harder. I wouldn't hesitate. The show is a blast!

I am entertaining doing Curtains, but I am little hesitant because of the number of male roles. It lists 7 male roles and 5 female roles in the casting information. I know that I have three strong boys who will audition, two of which are also strong singers. Does anyone have experience casting girls in any of the male roles? Also, can this show be done with a smaller ensemble? Covid really hurt my program and I am not sure how many students will audition this year. Thanks!
