Anyone use a good online silent auction site? Looking to do one, but not sure of what to look for, or if anyone has any good recommendations.

    Thanks!

We had great success with Charity Auctions Today-https://www.charityauctionstoday.com. Easy to set up (done completely by the Thespians) and all ages of our audiences were able to navigate the site.

As with many of the sites they take a  fee, but the ease of use for us and our audiences made that worth the fee.

Now you have me investigating!  I liked the description of Charity Auctions Today, mentioned by Krista already. They charge 5%, paid either by the organization or by the bidders. The site looks very easy to use and has some features to encourage higher bidding. "Popcorn" bidding means that a high bid submitted right at the closing deadline will open the bidding for another 5 minutes.

Then I found some reviews comparing various auction sites.  Some allow you to operate with no overhead charged directly; they just solicit voluntary donations from bidders to cover the operating costs.   https://www.capterra.com/sem-compare/auction-software/

When I explored the Gala Bid auction platform, I got the link to their intro video:
    https://www.galabid.com/global-live-demo-video?&lang=US

Around 3:40, the video mentions that the company can source high-end auction prizes (luxury vacations, etc.) with beautiful photos, from a consignment catalog, at no risk, and the return is on average 29%
