Lots of different options.
Using mottled gossamer, so the light comes thru but hides what's behind.
Sharktooth scrim.
staging your lights so that they reflect instead of shooting straight.
last idea is to use blacks... meaning the curtains to hide what you don't
want your audience to see.
Good luck.
No matter where you go, there you are!

You might also want to try using white or translucent Plexiglas for your facings. This diffuses the light and you shouldn't be able to see the cross beams and lamps.

We would love to use striplights to light up the space below some 4' tall platforms. We currently have muslin covering the front of the platforms. The problem is we can see the lamps and cross braces under the platforms. Does anyone know a better way to do this so that we don't see the lamps and cross braces but can use the striplights to project different colors towards the audience.
