Can someone please explain to me how to hang black curtains so that actors can't be seen entering and exiting on the UR and UL entrances at the corners of a cyc? Seems like they'd need to be hung in two layers so that if someone is coming through, the audience can't see through the opening behind the actor that is entering. Thanks for answering such a basic question! I'm alone in the theater tomorrow before tech and it needs to get done.

Glad that you figured it out. I was in LA this week and thought I would come and take a look if you hadn't solved the problem.

    Arden,
I'm glad you figured it out!  Without seeing your theater and its rigging, I would generally say that the leg or whatever drapery you have available just needs to be hung further onstage than the edge of the cyc to mask the entrance.
