I, too, liked Sparrow, specifically because I have so many kids who love superheroes. Ultimately, though, I rejected it because I felt that the main character felt no remorse for killing (my own problem with superheroes, I admit - they kill thousands when they destroy those buildings, but nary a mention of it in any comic or movie!), and in this post-Columbine, school-shooting era, I thought the message might be inappropriate for my audience. Good luck with it! I think the flying bits will be the most fun (easy staging - use the Peter and the Starcatcher trick of having someone on a levered ladder on the the ground that "floats" a few inches when stepped on from behind!

Anyone directed/staged this show at their high school. I love it and want to do so. It's so different. I was wondering how it went over in your communities.
