I need to restock my make-up and Theatre house is inaccessible and Ben Nye, is not easy to order from. It takes ages just to enter an order. Does anyone have a favorite theatrical make-up supplier. I am not in or near a big city.

    Hey Kim,
I have always used stage makeup online: https://www.stagemakeuponline.com

     Great selection,  great customer service.

And you reminded me I need to restock my own supplies.

    Good tidings,
    Aaron

Contact Ron at Spotlight Costumes in Pittsburgh. Excellent service. They order all of the makeup for Kennywood's halloween nights.

Most costume shops will have the makeup you need. If you don't have a
favorite, don't order from a website that can't help you with customer
service. Order from a site that has a brick and mortar store so you
will have some one there to help you. One choice that comes to mind
is Norcostco Theatrical. Their have several stores across the country
and have makeup experts at each location. They carry all the brands.
If you are looking for individual kits for the students, look into
Mehron's New Mini Pro Kits, it's a great bargain and the reviews have
    been great.

I can get almost everything from amazon now.  If your school has a prime account like mine does, then it is here in a flash. There are a few things I still have to go to specialty sites to get-- try costume holiday house-- but you would be surprised what you can get on amazon

I use Frends Beauty Supply for most of my needs. They offer a significant discount to educators. They carry Ben Nye,  Mehron and most other lines.  They have amazing bald caps,  too...

The Costumer includes most of the same property, wig, and make-up items that were also offered by Theatre House.

I cannot say enough good things about The Costumer.  Fast, friendly service.  If they don't have it in stock, they will get it for you.  I have ordered makeup, wigs, and accessories from them for years!

I've got to second Norcostco.  It's a one-stop theater shop.  My last order included mehron creme sticks ($10 a tube that has between 60-70 applications per tube), blank face masks for painting, all of my gaff tape for the year, and some flamex fireproofing liquid.  They have a huge varitey of professional make-up supplies, and are wonderful to work with.

We use Norcostco for about 90% of our makeup needs.  I assume most of you got their 10% off coupon, which helps.  The one item that we use Mehrons for is their olive shade foundations.  We have quite a number of Hispanic students and unless they are quite dark we have found that Mehrons has the more natural shades of olive skin tones.

    Hi all,
I am a big amazon fan, especially the prime feature. I can usually find everything I want from there. For those local Philadelphia peeps, I have used Philatheatrical in center city. I believe that you can have stuff delivered as well for those out of town. Good customer service for makeup, props, wigs (although I get mine elsewhere), etc.

    Have a great weekend.

    Kim (Group),
Just an FYI - the Theatre House is now under new ownership and we're open. All kinds of Ben Nye as well.

Thanks for being a patron in the past,

    Marty
