Have any of you booked group flights through Delta?
My final payment for ITF was due today. I kept calling all day and kept sitting on hold for 20+ minutes, so then I would hang up. I totally forgot about calling again until an hour ago.
I called Delta and of course, groups is closed. I get some guy who transfers me. I wait on hold for 20 minutes again, and finally a lady answers. So she basically tells me there is nothing she can do. Different department, I cannot pay online, and groups does not reopen until Tuesday!
I asked her if the tickets will be released at midnight since we did not pay today and she cannot tell me that either.
I am seriously freaking out. We made the deposit and sent the names for 15 seats. Will they release them? Or can I call on Tuesday and pay? I have read through the contract in hand and online and NOWHERE does it say anything about making the final payment late. Nothing. No ticket release, no late fees, and no one at Delta can help me.
If any of you can ease my nerves I would appreciate it. ------------------------------
