Hi Everyone,

   We are performing The Miracle Worker in the Fall of 2017 and I am trying to wrap my head around how to run a 3 Act show. Can those who have performed The Miracle Worker give me an idea of the run time for the production and how it was broken down (Acts I & II-intermission-Act III or Act I-intermission-Acts II & III)

I've done the show twice, and both times I broke for intermission after Annie and Helen's fight at the breakfast table. It works extremely well, because the actors now have time to breathe, and the crew can clean up the mess. Plus, the audience can't wait to see what happens, next.

We just did The Miracle Worker this March. I held a 15-minute intermission after Act II. Total run-time with the intermission was around 2 hours & 10 minutes.
