      It's that time of year! 

    We are currently cycling out old theatre books and our costume shop.  Does anyone know where we can give these theatre books to other than the thrift store?  I don't want to through them away and I would like them to be put to good use.  Some of them are good books but we just don't use them anymore.

    Consider giving them to other high school or college theatre programs.

    The local public or college library could use them. I have always found theatre books to be in short supply at these libraries.

    If you have a used book store, they may be interested in buying some of them. 

    I am looking for books on commedia and Asian theatre. Would be happy to cover shipping charges.

    What about schools that are still recovering from hurricane or other disaster losses of their collections? I know in Texas there was a point person for donations at one point after the hurricane, and maybe someone from EdTA could be helpful in directing you to those in need.

    I would love to!  That is my hopes.  I would rather a school make some use out of them and not see them go to waste.
