    Hello,

We are producing Wizard of Oz (RSC) in mid November.  The only place I have found so far that offers rehearsal and performance tracks for this show is MT Pit.  However, their performance tracks are only compatible with iOS and Mac.  My school is all PC, and I also don't personally own any Apple products.  Is there another company that has tracks for this show?  I love Right on Cue services, but they won't have thier WoO tracks ready in time for me.

Also, I am looking into purchasing projections.  I am particularly interested in an animated projections for the tornado and for Oz.  Can anyone recommend a company they have used before?  I have not used projections previously, so this is new to me.  Thanks!

Check out Theatre Ave: https://theatreave.com/ for projections (yes, they have WoO).
Mitch Stark is very very helpful, and can answer your How To questions.

    Hi Jennifer:

Happy to hear you're producing Wizard of Oz!

My name is Quentin - I'm with Broadway Media. We're the largest digital scenery provider around, and we have a team ready to provide help and answers to any questions you might have. There are many options to consider when using digital scenery for your production - take a look at what we offer. Alternatively, if you're interested in working with students to make the content, we'd also gladly give you some pointers in best practices. Feel free to reach out to us at hello@broadwaymedia.com to start a conversation.

Have you seen this on Broadway World? FYI Broadway Media is providing grants to cover certain production expenses. If your organization applies and the committee awards you a grant, you could end up getting the digital media, projector rentals, accessories, streaming gear, etc, at a very low rate (grants range up-to $3,000).

p.s. Too bad that ROCS won't have the tracks in time. We really like the folks who run that company - Good people and a great product.

    Best wishes,
    Quentin

    BACKING TRACKS:

We just finished Newsies and (like you) are Windows-only.  We found London Arrangements had a complete score for it and it worked REALLY well.

They also have a Wizard of Oz (complete show) (londonarrangements.com)

When we did Matilda, we were so early in the process that they didn't have any backing tracks, and no promise of one in time either.

I found Sing Broadway Now – SingBroadwayNow which had backing for all the songs, and I ended up entering all the notes for all the incidental and instrumental music into MuseScore and generating tracks from , which also worked surprisingly well.

    PROJECTIONS:

For our Wizard of Oz show (2019) we used Rick Frendt's projection suite.  (https://www.rickfrendt.net/wizard-of-oz-projections)

We supplemented it with a couple of projections from Mitch Stark. (https://theatreave.com)

I second the comment that Mitch Stark is wonderful to work with.
