Working on Les Mis, school edition, and we need a breakaway chair for the fight between Javert and Valjeanat Fantine’s death. Not having much luck with an internet search. Any suggestions or leads will be appreciated.

I used a chair I swiped from the library. It was wooden, and assembled with screws. I just took out the screws and replaced them with wooden pegs. Sturdy enough to sit on (very carefully), but when you banged it on the floor, it broke into pieces. The audience loved it.
