Death of a Salesman.
I don't think there are many kids who can pull off Willy Loman. I waited years for an actor who could convey the burden of Years, and when I finally had a kid who could pull it off, everyone talked me out of the play because it is too serious, and I missed my chance. I regret it now. He could have done it. He would have been great.
I think there are 12 or 13 parts all together.
Also, The Crucible.

Subject: Productions with a strong male lead?
I'm looking for a full length play with a strong male lead- but not a musical. Drama or comedy, either is fine. I have a senior that will be majoring in performance arts after graduation and I'd like something that could really challenge him for his final show in high school. I'd like cast size at least 12ish, bigger than that is fine. Anyone have any suggestions? (We did 'Our Town' this semester.)
