How do you intend to use the projections in the production? Are you looking for a single screen up center? Multiple screens? If more than one screen, will they show different images from on another, or the same image?
Below is a projection rental vendor in your area (if I did my research right). I have no experience with them, but reaching out to a projection renal vendor is a good way to get the ball rolling.
http://www.columbusprojector.com/ Perhaps Vincent Lighting could be a source as well. They are big in your region. I have used them and would recommend them. I am not certain if they rent projectors or not.
https://www.vls.com/locations/If you have Qlab, that could be a great solution for the cuing and playback of your video content. Here is a link to some of the basics on using that.
https://qlab.app/docs/v4/video/introduction-to-video/ I am not certain what form of media your video content is in, but I have even used something as simple as Power Point or Google Slides to cue still images; inserting a black slide when no image is desired. Since it sounds like you have no one on board who is video savvy, short on technical staff, and your show opens in a month, I would recommend a less is more approach. Video can be time consuming and frustrating when you are first working with adding it to a show.
In general, keep lighting off of the projection surfaces, and keep performers away from the projection surfaces, so the stage lights do not wash out the images.

Thanks Dave. We have licensed the projections and have used QLab in the past for sound cues, although I was not the one who used it, so I'm not sure how it works. As far as projection equipment, we have nothing more than a classroom projector, and that's it, as far as I can tell. Where do I even begin?

Once you have sourced the images, and have an idea of your set design, we can probably better help you with how to realize that with the appropriate video projection technology. Hello,
Can anyone point me to a source for the equipment needs (or a company to help) for video projections and everything you need to consider if using them for an onstage show? (We're doing Ranked, a musical.) My technical director retired mid-year and there is yet to be someone hired to fill his place and it leaves many loose ends. Our show (videotaping at the end of February) requires projections and video as a part of it. I'm not even sure where to start picking up the ball on this one.
Any help on where to find information and sources would be greatly appreciated.
