I am going to use TikTok to create assignments for my acting students to perform using TikTok. Some will be more in-depth and require partners but I decided to start off with the basics. Here is the first:
We know your "other" should be placed in front of you at about eye level when performing a monologue or song so that you can connect with your other and the adjudicators during an audition/competition.
Your assignment:
Using TikTok (or you can just videotape yourself using your phone or Chromebook), create an example(s) of "How NOT to Place Your Other".
This could be you performing your monologue, slating, singing a song, etc. BUT...you must do it incorrectly by placing your other in any place BUT where it should be. Have fun! Be creative!!! Be silly!!!
Submit your video or TikTok link to Google Classroom for credit for today's class.
