    Hi everyone,

Which stage version of the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe do you like best? I was getting ready to peruse some scripts but before I buy them I wanted to narrow down the search.

    Thanks,
    Tanner Oharah

Joseph Robinette at Dramatic Publishing is solid. Most others are only licensed in UK

Yes, I did this one and it was a hit. Consider though adding background music - it enhanced the story for me.

I've actually done the musical NARNIA twice. It's a surprisingly well written musical considering how little known it is. The songs and arrangements are excellent. I don't know if a musical is at all what you're looking for but if you can manage it, I'd definitely check it out.

I , too, have done Narnia twice!  I also LOVED it!  Magical show and the music is superb!  It's not at all dumbed down for a child audience.  Definitely check it out:)

There is a wonderful musical version that was produced by the RSC in the 1990's. It's "The Lion, the Witch, and The Wardrobe," by C.S. Lewis, dramatized by Adrian Mitchell.

Very true to the book, for those who care about things like that. There's also a tidy, shortish adaptation of LWW by Glyn Robbins. Very good.

    Best of luck!

Dramatic Publishing holds exclusive rights to licensing the show in the US. The Glyn Robbins adaptation is only available for licensing in the UK.

The Adrian Mitchell adaptation is only available for licensing on a very limited basis and would not be available for a school production.

The Robinette version is a fantastic option for schools C.S. Lewis' The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by Robinette

Narnia is a beautiful musical option: Narnia by Tasca, Tierney and Drachman (Musical)

Please feel free to contact us with any questions. We would be happy to help in licensing your production!
