    In short, I am a new to the school this year and have inherited a dirth of basic stage items. I was thrilled to find a stack of rehearsal cubes; unfortunately, we only have one of these chairs. And it is broken.

    This particular one (attached) is the IKEA Olga chair, which they don't seem to stock any more. I'd prefer wood, but will take what I can get. Can anyone suggest a place to find these? Thanks!

    That design goes back to the Thonet brothers in Europe, circa 1850s plus or minus. They're readily available all over the place in various materials and grades. Just do a search for "Thonet chairs," "bentwood chairs," or just "Thonet."

    Try on line.  Walmart has them listed on line as does Overstock as does Amazon.  Try the words Thonet chair.

    The picture of the chair you have shared is a classic Thonet Bentwood chair. Google that phrase and you should be able to find imitation knock-offs at an affordable price.

    I searched for Thonet chairs about a month ago and only found pairs listed above $100 (and often well above). Will need to look elsewhere. What other kinds of chairs do you use in your departments? Thanks!

    Do you need this particular model of chair for any reason? If you are just looking for a set of reasonably priced matching chairs to use for a variety of purposes, you could check out another IKEA model like this one for $25:
