Hi Nancy,
This sounds basic - but there are some excellent videos on YouTube that show good hairstyling techniques. If you need some for makeup and spfx makeup, MAC has some amazing videos with professional makeup artists like Rick Baker.
As far as acting for the camera - you can search that term on Google or YouTube and get a large amount to choose from.
