    We have an Amazon Prime account - with shipping costs included this is usually the best option. Unless you have a  local theatrical supply dealer. There is one in Belchertown MA on Daniel Webster's Highway, but that may be a haul from Tewksbury.

    There is a solid tech supply store if you're ever downtown in the port area. I have no idea about prices - when I worked on a cruise ship as a Production Manager, it was the easiest & most convenient: hop off the ship, walk across the street from the terminal in that strip shopping center. But there must be other tech supply in the City (or online) more convenient to you.

    Empire Tape Company in Los Angeles has great prices and is very fast. I can fax in a Purchase Order on a Thursday morning and have my order by Friday afternoon (I'm about 30 miles out of the city). They also call me when they are having a sale.

    They have a large selection of spike tape, dutchman tape, gaff tape etc.

    I buy my tape through Empire Tape, Norcostco, or Rose Brand.  They all have good selections and are easy to work with.

    Check out B&H Photo Video as well (bhphotovideo.com).  $5.95 for spike, $17.95 for 2" gaff, free shipping over $49.  I also teach a TV Production course, so B&H is my toy store.  I wish I lived closer to NYC (or maybe it's better that I don't!)  :-)
