I am considering "Bang, Bang, You're Dead" for a fall show.  We hope to do a lot of pre-show education about school violence, mental health, etc.  Does anyone have lessons along those lines that they would be willing to share?

I have a ton of stuff on BBYD, but most of it is specific to the show and not greater themes. Those we always did as a part of class discussion. I have a great culminating portfolio project for it, though.

This is the first show I teach in Drama One. I’ve done it every year, and it’s the only show that has made it to the curriculum 4 years in a row.

    Hi Jodi,

Are your BBYD drama class materials available anywhere? I'm considering using this play in my Drama class this year, and would be interested to see how you dealt with it in the classroom.

    Thanks!

    Nate
