  • 1.  Getting paint out of a curtain...?

    Hi all,

Not sure if anyone has any suggestions for this, but - awhile back a careless student got some white paint on our rear stage black curtain. Luckily it's mostly in the wings, but it looks messy and is occasionally visible. We've tried using water, turpentine, and mineral spirits, but the paint doesn't seem to want to come out.

Does anyone have any suggestions for getting paint out of a stage curtain...? I'm attaching a few photos. Thanks for any help!

I found a number of companies that do professional stage curtain cleaning and repair online. Not sure if you have a budget for this, but if you pick someone local to you it can come in less than $500. If that just won't do, would I be committing a crime to suggest covering the white paint splotches with black sharpie?

Ive had used Kruder Kutter to get dried paint out of carpet.  It is available at Home Depot in the paint department.
