    I lucked out and was able to borrow a set of cheer costumes from a local playhouse that produced HSM a few years ago.
    I went on Eastbay and was able to buy a set of matching shorts and tops for my ball players that were cheaper than renting.  You might want to look into that.

    We did the show last year and purchased numbered and lettered jerseys, shorts and warm ups.  The uniforms are nylon, competition quality and are reversible.  In addition, we still have a couple of sets of warm-up pullovers with the Wildcat logo over the left chest the team wore in several parts of the show.  We also have a set of competition quality cheerleading uniforms (tops and skirts).  Photos are attached.  Let me know the sizes and quantities and maybe we can work out a rental rate.

    I bought cheerleading costumes through amazon (very inexpensive)- red and white- and just put the moniker on front with red sharpie, they worked great.  Red shorts and tanks with numbers- get iron on make the basketball uniforms.  Do you have any schools in your area whose colors are red and white?  Try borrowing from them.  If you have the budget to rent,  it might be just as cheap to buy real cheerleading uniforms.  Lots of places on line.  Ask your cheer sponsor. 

     

    Break a leg and may all your theatre seats be filled.
