If you or your students are looking for inspiration (or EXTRA CREDIT!) below are two shows that I'm doing for ComedySportz This Weekend! It could make for a good discussion for the next class! Maybe you can require a screenshot as proof of attendance? And if they notify me at the end of the show, we'll invite them to our notes and join the discussion and can speak with the players, couch, and CsZ STL Owner. I do shows almost every weekend between CsZ and The Second City.
Also, I'm always happy to share any improv curriculum or thoughts. If you ever need a guest speaker or improv instructor, I'm happy to pop in for a bit to talk Hollywood actor life or improv - FOR FREE. Let me know when you meet and maybe we can coordinate a time to have me pop in?
More weekend comedy family-friendly fun! at 6p Pacific/ 8p Central/ 9p Eastern as part of ComedySportz STL!

Subject: Improv/Acting: Need A Zoom Guest Speaker/Instructor? CsZ Shows!
Fellow EdTA Members,
Looking for fun curriculum fillers and engaging discussions in this online world?
Like some of us here, I'm cut back drastically on hours. So, if anyone would like to help me fill up my schedule so I'm not bored to death, I'm happy to pop in your online sessions as a guest speaker or guest instructor for a bit! For free. Simply put, I'm a theatre, comedy, acting nerd.
I'm happy to perhaps lead some improv comedy workshops (games, long form, short form, overview, in-depth), sketch writing, or talk about being an actor in Hollywood! Discussions could be life as an artist, how I survive (working on Fox's 9-1-1), teaching, and my work with the Department of Defense as the comedy coach with the Air Force Wounded Warrior Program teaching applied improv. [See Links Below]
Also, I'm doing a LOT of family-friendly improv comedy shows with ComedySportz St. Louis (my hometown) remotely. If any of your students would like to watch a Friday or Saturday evening match, let me know and I'll get you the link to share (free). This could make for good extra credit assignment and discussion the following Monday.
