We actually just revamped circle. They kept adding things to it and it got so long that then people didn't want to be a part of it, so I went through and helped them re-organize and explained to everyone the purpose of each piece and why it was important to me that they do at least the most important (to me) pieces together.
They start with bibbity bibbity bop, then jiggalo (one person does a silly dance move and everyone else copies it, there's a silly song that goes with it) and I think there's one other as well. Those 3 are optional. Then they do Spartan Laser, which is a cheering contest between two teams, but it's all pantomimed. Spartan Laser is the first required activity, so kids are kind of trickling in during the other activities and then they're all their and participating by Spartan Laser. After that they do goals, energy circle (pass the squeeze) and then Step Into Your Character where they leave their own cares behind and physically embody their character. Then it's game time.
I plan on adding a vocal warm up to it, but we just got this straightened out after a lot of drama so I'm going to wait and do that next show.

Subject: Circle Activities before a show
Hello! I wanted to start a conversation about what you have your students do during "circle" before a show.
I want them to do something physical, verbal, and mental, to warm up all parts of their body, in addition to a silly ritual.
Any cool new ideas?
Thanks!
