This grant honors the late Craig Zadan, a visionary with a lifelong commitment to addressing issues of diversity. Pathway is focused on enhancing the school theatre experience and impact in underserved communities. The 2022-2023 Pilot Program will award up to five (5) $10,000 grants for high schools to put on a musical or play that encourages dialogue around issues of race and racial equity. Funds should be used to hire a professional director, choreographer, and/or technical expert of color to act as mentors to students, building relationships and casting vision for potential career pathways.
This pilot program is for schools in Atlanta, Cincinnati, and San Diego.
