Trumpets blared, bells toled, children cheered, for the ITO were back together for a weekend! Talking my first ever steps into Cincinnati were all the better knowing that I would soon be met with some of the best leaders I have had the pleasure of knowing. We got together, hugged lots, then made our way to the EdTA home office. We met with several of the EdTA's departments, brainstorming on what we can do to better serve YOU amazing Thespians. Some of this discussion included ideas and plans for the upcoming International Thespian Festival this June!!!!!!! After meeting all of the amazing and hardworking employees, we went to a meet-and-great dinner with the staff and board, fostering great conversation and a creative environment!

The next day we woke up bright and early to give a thorough presentation to the EdTA board about our travels so far this year, and everything we've learned from you guys! Later that day, we had the opportunity to host a small leadership workshop for a group of Kentucky troupe officers which ended up being incredibly productive and we learned a lot from each other. This day also sparked the beginnings of planning for our leadership workshops for ITF (which you still have plenty of time to sign up for hint hint). The following day was also spent working, and we began filming for our ITO Application video. Finally, on Monday we got to meet with the incredible Julie Theobald and Doug Berlon to touch base on our responsibilities. It was a fantastic and invigorating weekend that made me even more excited to continue serving Thespians across the nation! Can't wait to see you all in Lincoln!!!!
