He specializes in mentoring youth artists, revitalizing educational theatre initiatives, and integrating creative scholarship into arts programming.
Jim’s signature accomplishments include growing and transforming school theatre programs; leading the reimagination and statewide expansion of the New Jersey Young Playwrights Contest & Festival; building partnerships across universities, theatre companies, and arts organizations; and driving national research and advocacy for youth playwriting. He is known for fostering inclusive, innovative learning environments, adjudicating youth arts competitions, and developing resources like the Young Playwrights Guide that empower emerging talent.
