Seventeen years ago I created CA Youth in Theatre Day to honor selected Theatre students of all ages and their educators at an Opening Ceremony at the State Capitol in a Senate Committee Room then visits to legislators and hour after hour performances at Sacramento Theatre Company along with guest speakers and workshops, certificates for each student and teacher, a Lt. Gov certificate for each school declaring them EXCELLENCE IN THE STATE OF CA EDUCATIONAL THEATRE. I have attached our program for March 11, 2014. lIt includes the Senate resolution which declares March 11, 2014 at the 17th CA YOUTH IN THEATRE DAY. Enjoy reading in your spare time.
