    Dear Thespian Leaders

In the spring ENOUGH! Plays to End Gun Violence ran a crowd sourcing campaign where folks could sponsor copies of our 2020 anthology being sent to schools, libraries, or other organizations of their choice. While some specified where they wanted their copies to go, the destination of 330 sponsored copies are unspecified. We're reaching out to see if you'd like one of these sponsored copies of #ENOUGH sent to you?

If so, please email me - Michael Cotey (mcotey@enoughplays.com) - with your name, school address, and how many copies you'd like to receive. Copies will be first come, first served ! Our hope is to get them directly into communities to read, perform and experience!

For those unfamiliar with our program: ENOUGH! creates space for teens to confront gun violence by writing ten-minute plays addressing the issue that will ignite critical conversations and inspire meaningful action. This year six of the plays submitted through a nationwide call in Spring 2023 will be selected by a panel of nationally-renowned playwrights, including David Henry Hwang and Lauren Gunderson, to be presented in our Nationwide Reading - an evening of readings staged simultaneously by theaters, schools, and community groups across the country. Nearly 2,000 artists in more than 100 communities have participated across our two previous Nationwide Readings. Many have used ENOUGH! to forge meaningful community partnerships and create space for the youth of their area to be seen and heard. See for yourself in this PBS NewsHour feature

    Thank you!

I really enjoyed co-directing a reading of this work at Black Mountain Center for the Arts here in North Carolina last year!
