I'm seeking out effective vocal projection warmups. Which are your favorites? We no longer have access to a rented performance space, so we'll be using the elementary school cafeteria of a school adjacent to ours – no stage, we'll be on the floor. The facility is medium sized and was not built with acoustics in mind. Renting mics are not an option for us this school year. Thanks in advance for your warmups offerings!

I love to see directors focusing on vocal warm-ups! Attached are a few things that I use and riff on regularly. Although these docs are labeled elementary, advanced, etc. I adapt them to a wide variety of grade levels. While some may not seem to directly relate to projection, I've found that connecting articulation, breath, body awareness and projection help the students express themselves vocally. Good Luck!
