  • 1.  Speech/Communications Field Trip or Enrichment

    For those of you who also teach public speaking, debate, etc., what ideas do you have for field trips or other enrichment experiences for that class? I've reached out to one of our news stations, and last year I brought in a guest speaker on conflict resolutions, but I don't have a lot of other ideas. I'm eager to hear your suggestions!

    Check with attorneys, judges, PR people, etc. in your community. Many of them participate in Speech and Debate in high school, and may be willing to come share how that impacted their careers.
