    Hi Everyone!

Just sending a message out-- we are doing a production of Shrek April 11-14. I'm in northern Illinois. We have a costume contract, which was supposed to include the kneeling Farquaad costume, but they just notified me to tell me that they can't accommodate my actor. He's a bigger guy. I'm looking for a possibility-- Do you have any suggestions or does anyone have anything that might work that they'd be willing to rent to us?

    Here are the measurements:

The dates of the show are April 11-14, 2024
The actor's measurements are as follows:
    Height 6'1"
    Chest: 48"
    Waist: 45"
    Hip: 45"
    Outseam: 43"
    Inseam: 32"
    Neck: 17"
    Sleeve Length: 35"
    Head: 23"
    Shoulder to Shoulder: 19"
    Nape to Waist 14 1/2"
    Nape to Floor: 63"

If you are open to a different sort of solution ...

We chose not to have Farquaad on knees (it just felt wrong, with a little person in our student body).  Instead we played him as childlike - playing with toys (castle and knights), having temper tantrums, riding in on a little kid's scooter, and bouncing in on a bounce ball with a horse head. (The photo is Amazon, not our production.).   It was a different sort of comedy, but it fit well and was well received.
