Hi!
Definitely not a silly question. Best way to answer would be to pack comfortable SHOES (i.e. sneakers)! You will be walking a lot between the convention center and getting to/from shows.
As for clothing, you do not need anything "fancy", unless you are planning on attending the Broadway Back To School event on Sunday. Keep in mind that the weather here is supposed to be in the 60's and 70's, so you may want to pack a light jacket for the evenings...and convention centers are notoriously FREEZING!
If you are taking a movement workshop (may i recommend the "12-Step Program"...wink wink) be sure you have clothes that you can freely move in. Other than that, most people wear comfortable clothes. This is definitely NOT a formal-wear conference.
I hope this helps a little.

Subject: Packing??
Silly question, I know, but what are people packing? I've never been to a National Conference, so I don't really know what I need. I assume some movement clothes, but do we also need nicer clothes for other events?
