  • 1.  One-Act 'An Enemy of the People'?

    Hi!
Does anyone happen to have a One-Act edit of An Enemy of the People?
It's public domain, of course, so I know I can do one myself - just wondering if anyone else has already created a one-act version?

    Thank you! :)

I'm sure that you are already on top of this, but I'd like to put out a caution to readers on this board, keyed to a common misconception about English translations of classic plays ... Ibsen's original Norwegian text is in the public domain, but that doesn't mean that all English translations of it are also public-domain.  Many, in fact, remain under copyright, and those can't be performed without permission and royalties, and cuts can't be made without permission.  In any case such as this, make sure that the English translation that you want to use is old enough for its copyright to have expired - or make the proper licensing and royalty arrangements.  Project Gutenberg remains a great source for public-domain translations.
