HI Johnny
I cannot offer any advice but would like to know if you accept musicals for submission? I have a 30 minute musical "Happiness Rains", with a drunk driving theme with 6 songs.
And a full length with 17 songs "A Running of the Bulls", 2 high school seniors battle bullies, put down prejudice and stand up to stereotypes for the chance to sing their song at the rock concert of life. Links to script and songs at https://www.asjustonelife.com/
Songs for "Happiness Rains" can be heard thru the "And Now Our Lives Evermore" song link and I can provide the script for your consideration. All music is digital and licensed for use. Demos are poorly sung by me.
Thank you for your time

Subject: Mental Health themed musicals
Hey Everyone!
I'm looking for a mentor/advice. I've been lucky enough to win awards for my high school-appropriate musical 'Authenticity' and have recently expanded to making a small company that licenses mental health-related musicals to high schools. I've noticed the effects of putting together an amateur/original can really bring kids together in a way that all the already licensed musicals can't. I have all my materials prepared on standby and have successfully put my shows up at my college and high school, but have been itching to get them into high schools.
But I want to know how to put my best foot forward. I really don't prioritize the price of my show, I just want people to see how fun it is to put it up. How can I market myself to theatre arts educators? (I've already tried cold calling school psychologists, drama teachers, and have pitched it to many Facebook groups.)
Thanks for your time! Any information is helpful,
Johnny Cassidy
