I live for that magical spectacle moment of the show. The shadow puppetry in The Old Man and the Old Moon, the projection magic in A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, the cylindrical set of the professional traveling Phantom of the Opera, the chair and table elephant in Mark Brown's Around the World, the train scene in Ken Ludwig's The 39 Steps... Oh, and just ALL the puppets in Lion King. So many of these moments have inspired me to include creative scenes and transitions into my own shows.
Can you think of another magical moment of a show that I am missing?
I have some challenging scenes ahead of me to bring to life, and I would love to see some theatrical magic that is out there as I wrap my brain around these feats.
