    Hello Theatre Educator Community,

    I am directing Kate Hamill's Sense and Sensibility in the spring. I am beginning my prep and wondering if anyone here has directed the show and would be open to connecting with me about your experience. I am particularly curious about inventive staging as I am not working with a choreographer and would love to hear your ideas.

    I directed this in 2019, and it was so much fun! I have to confess that I wasn't able to be as creative with the staging as I would have liked -- I felt rather hampered by our proscenium stage. We were able to be pretty creative with the chorus of gossips.

    We did end up getting to do one performance at our local Shakespeare theater, which was amazing!
