For many years our school district has had a shared musical theatre production with a school in England. Unfortunately, the school in England is unable to participate in the project this year. I am reaching out to see if anyone in another state might be interested in doing a joint musical. Our previous arrangement had the director of the two schools doing an on-site visit at each school for casting in the fall. The schools would communicate shared choreography, blocking, and direction through Zoom and videos. In the spring selected students would travel to the other school for one week to join in their production. Host homes would provide housing at each school to keep costs reasonable.
We would love to connect with a school in another state - we are a smaller community in Virginia near Williamsburg and Richmond. Lots of opportunities for cool field trips in our area. Please reach out to me if you are interested lgallant@nkcps.k12.va.us
