Christopher, you're certainly not alone. I'd bet that when a school says cords, stoles, or medallions are "not allowed" at graduation, what they're really saying is "we don't want to see them" at graduation.
What more and more of our members are doing is presenting the honors at their awards banquets anyway. The pride and affirmation that the students feel at that moment will live in their hearts much longer than the feelings from graduation day.
At graduation, students will wear their honors UNDER their graduation gown for the ceremony, then take it all out for pictures afterwards. That way they adhere to school policy AND get to walk and have pictures with their honors.
No matter what, make sure your students respect school policy. Just find a way to celebrate and honor their accomplishments. It's you they'll remember in 20 years, not their graduation day.

Subject: Graduation Stoles
Hello,
Our troupe is looking to order graduation stoles for the first time this year. Can anyone who has ordered these before provide me with details about color, what goes on them, and possible vendors? My school orders stoles from Jostens.
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you!
