Director of Theatre Job Opening!
Hello All! This is Bob Henrichs, former EdTA President and Founding Director of Theatre at Lincoln Southwest HS in Lincoln, NE and I am retiring from teaching at the end of the year and I am getting the word out to "beat the bushes" to try to find an amazing teacher/director/Thespian Sponsor to take my place and continue to build upon the program that I "birthed" here 21 years ago! Is that YOU? If so, read on!
Did I mention there is a separate, fulltime technical director?? I don't know how much space I have here, so if you are interested, please feel free to email me at: bhenrich@lps.org and I will be happy to answer any questions you might have about the program, the Lincoln Southwest High School (we are a full block schedule school, which I LOVE!), the city of Lincoln, etc.
I assume my position will be listed around March 20. You can apply by going to the Lincoln Public Schools website (www.lps.org) and type: employment opportunities in the search box. You will click on a green box, ½ way down the page. You would apply to the 23/24 Certified Secondary Pool.
You can also call the LSW School office (402-436-1306) and ask to speak with my principal, Mr. John Matzen and let him know that you are planning on applying and to look for your materials.
