Would love some suggestions of videos I could share with my middle school students of quality group pantomimes, particularly (but not limited to) student performing groups (MS and HS) performing about realistic social problems. Doesn't need to be "after school special" or anything. Just trying to get one of my classes to establish realistic characters and settings together. I have a couple I've come across on YouTube, and I also use some clips from the NCCAS website under their "model cornerstone assessments" heading, but it's always great to have a bigger collection of examples.

Hi Ryan! This is a tough one to find resources on, I noticed that pantomime on social issues seems to be much more popular abroad. I found some videos of international performers on various issues, but I don't know if it's what you are looking for (or if you've already found these):

If this is a project you take on with your class, maybe you should record and share them, it sounds like a really interesting assignment that not many people have seen before!

Thanks, Ginny for pointing me toward these resources!

As regards the novelty of the assignment, I wish I could take credit for it, but it's one of the MCAs for 8th grade theatre on nationalartsstandards.org.
