    We are producing A Charlie Brown Christmas and I'm looking for good ways to create the skating rink scene. Any ideas?

    It depends on what your stage surface is like, but I was able to stage that with the students just “skating” in their socks. We just made sure the stage was swept well before each performance.

    When we did the production many years back, I lit the floor with some gobos (image glass to be specific). Actors used the "Heelys" shoes with the wheels in the heels. It went over very well. Snoopy wore then the entire production, which really was a fun tool for the actress.
