    Any ideas from anyone out there that were unable to fly Mary and Bert.... What did you do?

    One solution is to build a facade of rooftops (which you could use later in the show anyhow), and behind the facade have a ramp which she would either be pulled up to fly away or allowed to slowly to descend the ramp to simulate flying in for a landing.

    A school near us used a really really tall A frame ladder on wheels - it was amazing!
