    Dear Theatre Educators / Artists,

The Maryland Theatre Education Association, the University of Maryland College Park School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies, and The Black Theatre and Dance Symposium have partnered to bring you THRIVE 2021, a full day of virtual workshops, networking and fellowship on February 13th from 9:15am- 4:45pm.

The event is FREE and, because of the virtual nature of this year's conference, we are able to invite all of our EdTA friends to join us!

THRIVE features workshops by leaders in the field on such topics as:

    • Culturally Responsive Theatre Practices

    • Curating a Digital Production

    • Re-centering the Narrative

    • The Decolonized Canon

    • Broadway Monologue Master Class.

In light of recent events and the economic and social inequities revealed by the COVID-19 pandemic and the Black Live Matters movement, MTEA has committed to ensuring that our organization and offerings intentionally address conversations of diversity, equity, and access.

As such, MTEA would like to invite all Theatre Makers, Artists, and Educators to engage, connect, and collaborate virtually at THRIVE 2021 for FREE!

Visit our website, www.mtea-md.org, to register and learn more about MTEA and THRIVE.
