I would love to help with recommendations. Can you tell us more about what the monologue would be for? For example, I'd recommend differently based on if it was for college auditions, IE, class, etc. Also, what age/experience level is your student?

I've always liked Anna Devere Smith pieces and there is a great script called The Blonde and Other Slight Distractions that has a good monologue (although it's pretty long)

Depending on how old she is and how mature, Vagina Monologues has some great monologues that will fit that description. 
I would not recommend to below 11th grade. Also consider how she would be using it.
