    I love Tuck Everlasting but every male is a tenor.  Does anyone have suggestions for working through this?  Can the Man in Yellow Coat, Hugo and Constable be played by girls?

    While most of the male roles are tenor-ish...we found the ranges were not as extreme as stated in the vocal breakdown. It would be tricky plot wise to cast Hugo as a girl, as he ends up courting/marrying Winnie in the end. And the constable flirts and ends up with the mother.
