Below is a tentative itinerary for the day:
8:30 am - Continental breakfast in the Severson Theatre
9:00 am - Introduction of the Technical Theatre Conservatory faculty and a brief overview of the two year Conservatory experience in the Severson Theatre
9:30 am - Tour PCPA's theatres and the shops on the Allan Hancock College campus
(In each shop there will be a brief demonstration of how the professional technicians and designers work side by side with the students to create and produce PCPA's professional year round season.)
11:00 am - Time for questions
12:00 pm - PCPA will provide a barbeque in our scene shop yard.
(This will be a great opportunity to mingle with the faculty and our current technical theatre students. You can ask questions and get a firsthand account of what to expect during your two years of training with PCPA.)
1:30 pm – Matinee performance of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder at the Marian Theatre
(Each student will receive one free ticket. This is great way to see the fruition of all the work we do at PCPA. You will see the designs fully realized, and you will see how the students run the show under the guidance of their professional mentors.)
4:15 pm - After the show our Production Manager and Conservatory Director will be in the lobby to answer any questions.
5:00 pm - Wrap up and Goodbyes.
We are excited to have you here to show you the work we do as a Professional Conservatory Theatre.
I look forward to hearing from you.
All the best,
Sara
