I hope you are all enjoying the holiday season! I wanted to let you know about two exciting scholarship opportunities the American Theatre Wing has for YOUR students.
We are currently accepting applications for the Andrew Lloyd Webber Initiative Training and University Scholarships, which seek to promote diversity, equity, and access in the arts. The Training and University Scholarships are for students who come from historically underrepresented populations and who demonstrate need, talent, and interest in a career in theatre arts. We want to help your students talents soar and dreams come true!
Training Scholarships cover the costs associated with summer study and after school training programs for public school students in grades 6 through 11. With these scholarships, The Wing will pay for your student to continue their studies at the program of their choosing! If you know any students hoping to attending after school classes or a summer theatre program, please encourage them to apply! The deadline to submit an application is January 17th, 2018. University Scholarships help cover the cost of tuition for high school seniors pursuing a college degree in the theatre arts. A student's area of study can be any aspect of theatre arts- acting, directing, design, etc. Applications will be accepted through January 22, 2018.
