Hi All, I am working on a research project involving high school students the, the brief description is below. Due to IRB rules I can only ask if you have 9th or 10th graders that are engaged in theatre activities at your school. If the answer is yes (I assume it will be for most) and if you are willing, I would love to talk with you about how I may gain approval in your school district to conduct this research. Thanks.
This research study is to better understand why student participate in high school theatre and what motivates students to continue their theatre studies after high school. Participants will be asked to continue the study until high school graduation. Participants will dedicate approximately one hour a month to this study, which will include journal entries and interviews. All interactions will take place via email or video calls.
